A workshop for acoustic, single line instrument musicians and singers
If improvisation is new to you, or if you’re looking for new approaches to improvising, here’s your chance to explore familiar music basics in ways that allow for playful inspiration, imagination, and expression. Along the way, we’ll reference language, movement, and everyday dramatic situations. You’ll be working with fellow musicians in partner exercises and you’ll explore on your own in a warm, supportive environment. It’s easy and fun, and we’ll focus on creating music at your level that’s personally meaningful to you.
At First Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe.
Cost: $45. Free for all Public School Teachers if you’re listed on your school’s website.
Registration is required.
